Thanksgiving Day is about gathering friends, family, and food. But what if you’re not in the mood to cook, or can’t justify slaving in the kitchen for hours. No guilt. Drop your Aunt Sharon’s recipe for the family stuffing, and let’s go out instead.
Here’s a list of local restaurants we confirmed are open on Thanksgiving. Some of the fancier ones may require reservations, and hours may change so we recommend calling in advance.
Afterwards, call Aunt Sharon and wish her a Happy Thanksgiving. She won’t be able to talk long because of the huge stack of dishes in her sink. Hang up knowing the rest of your day is free to do as you please.

Oysters Rockefeller? Porcini and chestnut soup? Cranberry Waldorf salad? Should we go on?
Yes! This sounds like a Thanksgiving meal we can sink our teeth into. The crispy sage stuffing sounds divine. If it has sausage, all bets are off.
This is the menu we’ll be dreaming of while making pleasantries with Aunt Sharon whilst dousing her dry turkey with yet more gravy.
