Charlie Loomis, Executive Chef of FEED, is our featured guest this week. The FEED Company Table & Tavern may have a complex name, but there’s nothing complicated about their head chef. Charlie is as approachable as they come, and quite likable too.

Hear Charlie share how a job in a bakery first got him interested in cooking, and how used to sneak burger breaks while working at Laughing Seed, a vegetarian restaurant. In Asheville, Charlie became the master of the egg while working at Tupelo Honey where he eventually met Chuck Pruett, the founder of Greenlife Grocery.

That connection led Charlie and his family to Chattanooga where he now presides as head chef of FEED. We talk burgers, his desire for Egyptian street food and a whole lot more.
